Live Online Strategy Board Games

Turnaroo is built for live multiplayer board games. Players join active rooms, start matches together, and take turns during the same real-time game session.

The first playable game is Blokaroo, a Blokus inspired tile placement strategy game. Create a private room, share the link with a friend, use quick match to find opponents, or play as a guest without installing anything.

The goal is to make classic strategy board games easy to play online with clear rules, fast lobbies, Elo tracking, and browser-based gameplay.

Because matches happen live, Turnaroo is best for players who want quick real-time board game sessions rather than async turns that sit for hours or days.

In Blokaroo, players compete for board space by placing polyomino pieces from their own color. The rules are simple, but every turn can change which corners, lanes, and blocking routes stay open.

About Turnaroo

This started as a personal project to experiment with:

• Game engines
• Matchmaking systems
• Elo tracking and updating
• Generating game analysis

Right now it hosts one game: Blokaroo (inspired by Blokus-style tile placement). Once the infrastructure is in place I plan to release more games.

Development Status

Currently only Blokaroo is supported. There are still many things to fix in the UI. If you encounter any bugs or have feature requests please contact me.
